I don’t eat much if anything during the day so by the time I get home in the evening I eat dinner and then snack on carbs. From now on I’ll see your blue eyes looking at me the next time I go for the late night carbs.
Can you talk about fruit sugar and the role it plays in all this? For instance, if I eat an apple at night rather than any of the carbs you mentioned, how does that sugar impact my blood sugar, etc.?

Thank you for explaining the high blood sugar and insulin process so clearly. I am an R.N. and have never heard a better presentation on this subject matter. I have a similar problem. Recently, I told my doctor that I had to eat every two hours throughout the day or I feel weak, can’t think straight and become very irritable and disoriented. The doctor followed up with some blood work. When I went back to the doctor, she said, “The bad news is, you have a problem with low blood sugar, but the good news is, you will never get diabetes. Is that true? Then she gave me a bottle of Chromium capsules to take everyday. Would you please explain how low blood sugar effects the body and mind and how it is different than high blood sugar and insulin resistance? Also, how does Chromium help with the low blood sugar? Over the past 20 years, I have had similar problems as you described in your video, including losing weight several times and gaining it back within a year. Two years ago, I was ill and lost 35 lbs. I kept it off about a year and a half. In the last six months I have gained back 10-15 lbs., My weight varies from week to week. I was a Vegetarian for 15 years. Recently, I have started eating organic chicken and drinking organic chicken bone broth and of course lots of veggies. I think this may be helping, somewhat, but I still get cravings for sweet foods. Hi Cheryl. Thank you. I’m not sure about the part where your doctor said you will never get diabetes. Without knowing your full history, I can’t be certain in my answer, but many of my clients have low blood sugars AND diabetes. Our sugars fluctuate throughout the day and night and what we eat greatly affects them. Including protein at each meal often helps stabilize sugars. Low blood sugars usually leave a person feeling tired and irritable and hungry and, if they are low enough, disoriented. Cravings can be caused by low blood sugars and/or emotional issues. Hi Karen, Thank you for explaining about the blood sugars, I will be 74 in May and have been a type 2 diabetic for 33 years and on insulin for the past 16 years I still cannot control my sugars some days great the next day ugh!!!.I am looking forward to seeing the next video, I live in Spain and have a wonderful supply of fresh vegetables and fruit , I have recently had an injection which contained cortisone and that has put 5 kl’s on me which I can ill afford as I am now 120 kl’s ,Is it to late in your opinion to try and lower my insulin intake each day ? once again Thanks

Hi David. Blood sugars can be quite a complex issue to say the least. Sometimes it seems like the phase of the moon affects them. In truth, MANY things affect them. For example, your liver could be releasing extra sugars into your blood due to stress (watch video 3) or illness or for other reasons. It’s not always about the food. The nice thing is that managing our emotions can help with blood sugar issues. I would have to know your more of your medical history to answer your insulin question but I will tell you that I often see people reduce their medications as their cravings and emotional eating issues are resolved.
I liked the video and the audio visuals helped with understanding but I would now like to access the other videos.

I totally relate to everything you said, especially the problem with knowing what to do but not having a strong enough will power. Allowing the self sabotage followed by the guilt and all that goes with it. It’s a horrible merry go round and just having results back of my blood work that aren’t good and the fact that I’m nearly 50 has been a wake up call. Enough is enough and I’m very interested in learning more.

This all makes perfect sense. I need to know more so I can apply what it will take to overcome the bad eating habits. I know I’m an emotional eater. I don’t have a big weight problem but as you know just because someone isn’t obviously overweight doesn’t mean they are healthy. Bless for sharing your knowledge on this topic. Barbara – EFT is the best tool I know of for managing food intake and curbing cravings! Just ask Jolly Time. They’re probably wondering why their sales are down since I used tapping on my popcorn cravings!!
